Chemical Skin Peels

What You Need to Know About Chemical Peels

As we age, our skin is exposed to various environmental factors, including pollution, UV rays, and stress that can take a toll on its texture and appearance. A chemical peel is an excellent cosmetic treatment that can eliminate dead skin cells, improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and even out skin tone.

Understanding Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a popular treatment option for people who want to restore a youthful glow to their skin. They involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin that peels off the topmost layer of dead skin cells, allowing underlying, healthy skin to emerge. While chemical peels are commonly used for facial treatments, they can also be used on other parts of the body, such as the neck and hands.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a skin treatment that uses chemical solutions to exfoliate the outermost layer of skin cells. The resulting shedding of the skin leaves behind new, fresh, and smoother skin. Chemical peels are often used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.

At Fallon Aesthetics we offer ClinicCare chemical peels to compliment the range of skin care products we offer and use in clinic. Within the range of peels we have three options to choose from dependent on your skin type and treatment goals. All our peels offer minimal downtime and treatment takes around an hour and we are happy to discuss the best course of treatment for you. We recommend a course of four peels, once a month to get the best results possible.
